"Computer Music" Magazine Reviews Mister Chill'R's "Grand Beat"

Computer Music, one of the leading British music magazines, had this to say about Mister Chill'R's song, Grand Beat, from his album, Lunar Lounge:

"The vibe of Grand Beat is all about effects. The opening piano wafts off into the distance in a wash of ambient echo. In fact, the relationship of the warm reverb with the bright twinkling delay is very good indeed. And the bass, with its eighth-note stereo echo, rolls the track along nicely.

REVIEWS: KacperK for Subcity Radio (University of Glasgow) wrote, "Lunar Lounge is a very good piece of chillout/downtempo music. I suppose that Mister Chill'R shouldn't have any problem with finding one of his tunes on the famous Café del Mar series." Equally exciting is the news from Tim Oliver, editor of one the leading British music magazines, Computer Music, that Mister Chill'R's song, Grand Beat, will receive a featured review in the "Reader Demos" section of the April issue. Mister Chill'R can't wait to read what they will say about his baby!

News Flash! Mister Chill'R Releases Lunar Lounge

A very big "Hello" to all my fans and friends from Mister Chill'R.

I'm so very pleased and excited to announce to you all the release of my latest album, Lunar Lounge. It's a thirteen song set of downtempo, lounge chillout tunes with a "mellow and soothing" vibe. Just the thing for a lights out, late night relaxation and chillout session with your loved one by your side. Okay, so it's a few months late, but Mister Chill'R's Alien Unfolding made it into DJ Mag!

Here's what they have to say:

Lunar Cinematics We can't imagine many electronic producers release their debut LPs at the age of 68, but this is doubly refreshing for the fact that it is pretty damn good. It's an invigoration set of lunar cinematics and tripped out ambient. Not bad for an old dog at any rate. - Allan McGrath

Mister Chill'R's Descent into "Music Madness"

It all started with an Apple Macintosh computer. Many eons ago, back in the personal computer "Age of Enlightenment" (1987), Mister Chill'R and his adoring spouse, Mrs. Chill'R, purchased a little Macintosh mainly to keep track of Mrs. Chill'R's ever expanding collection of VHS taped movies. And wanting to learn more about their new little machine, and to commune with their fellow Mac'ers, they joined the local Mac users club. For several months the meetings concerned themselves with demos of word, spreadsheet software and new peripherals and the like.
